🏔️ Beyağaç Municipality
The heart of Sandras Ultra Trail lies in a small yet resilient district located at the crossroads of the Aegean and the Mediterranean:
Beyağaç. Situated in the southwestern part of Denizli, this mountainous district is home to a population of approximately 6,200 people, where daily life flows in rhythm with forests, highland pastures, and agricultural lands.
📍 District Profile
🏙️ Province: Denizli
🗺️ Area: 333 km²
👥 Population: 6,197 (2022 ADNKS)
📮 Postal Code: 20590
📞 Area Code: +90 258
Geographically closer to Muğla than to Denizli city center, and located on the slopes of Mount Sandras, Beyağaç carries the true character of a mountain town with its climate and natural environment. Forest villages, highland pastures, and lakes are an integral part of everyday life in the district.

🏃♂️ Sports & Sandras Ultra Trail Support
Beyağaç Municipality views Sandras Ultra Trail not merely as a race, but as
“a festival that introduces mountain culture and the Yörük spirit to the world.”
Within this vision, municipal support stands out in the following areas:
🚐 Transportation & Transfers: Shuttle routes, buses, and transport services during race week.
📍 Venue & Course Permissions: Authorization processes for start–finish areas, town squares, highlands, and forest roads.
👮 Safety Coordination: Joint operations with police, gendarmerie, and medical units.
🎪 Event Area Setup: Tent zones, local vendor stands, and producer areas.
